This is a commissioned portrait of a wonderful man who is inspired (and somewhat obsessed) by the brain and all it’s influences over humanity. The new research on the brain, it’s connections to mental disorders and behaviors are just some of the aspects represented here by electric tentacles of synapses and neurons. Personal favorites of his are also depicted and incorporated – he loved the colors blue and green and his favorite flower is the sunflower.
